MT170H Supports Multi-Disciplinary Research at Zhejiang University
Recently, AVIMETAL’s MT170H metal 3D printer was adopted by the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Zhejiang University. Prior to this, it had already been successfully applied in the School of Materials Science and Engineering and the School of Mechanical Engineering, supporting frontier academic research.
The MT170H is a compact and flexible LPBF (Laser Powder Bed Fusion) system with a forming size of φ170×120mm. It is widely used in scientific research, education, aerospace, biomedical, and other innovation-driven fields.
In the School of Materials Science, the MT170H Targets Copper Alloy 3D Printing Research. Its dual-cylinder structure (standard and small build chambers), open parameter system, stable performance, and aerospace-level oxygen control features have been highly praised by the research team.
To date, over 50 MT170 units have been delivered to leading universities and institutes, helping advance research in metal additive manufacturing.
